This is without doubt one of the most extraordinary sunrises I have ever witnessed. We had made an early start to drive Saddle Road which transects Big Island, Hawaii, from West to East.
As dawn broke in front of us, as we reached the mid point, the glow which radiated above the East side of the Island was surreal.
