Nearly missed this fellow having a siesta up in a tree on the edge of an area of rain forest, adjacent to a remote sandy beach on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica.
In fact whilst we were fortunate to come across several of the larger Three Toed Sloths during our visit to Costa Rica, this was the only Two Toed which we encountered.
