An extraordinarily enigmatic creature which we had set our sights on finding, even before we made the trip to costa Rica. We were more fortunate than we had expected.
Not only did we succeed in encountering them in the larger national park rain forests, but our hotel, on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, was situated in what used to be a 17 acre rainforest reserve. Here too we were fortunate, almost on our own doorstep.
